Dr. Benedetto was born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin. She attended St. Catherine’s High School where she was a three-sport varsity athlete playing tennis, basketball, and softball.
She attended Marquette University and majored in biological sciences, where she was one of twenty students selected to be in the Pre-Dental Scholar Program, enabling her to finish undergrad in only three years. From there, she went on to Marquette University School of Dentistry to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery.
After dental school, Dr. Benedetto moved to Chicago to start her career and worked in the Chicagoland area for five years. She took over Dr. Richard Duda's longstanding practice in 2019 and is proud to carry on his legacy. Dr. Benedetto is truly dedicated to providing her patients with the best care, which is why she is invested in continuing education. She is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. She is actively involved on the executive boards of the organizations to advocate for the rights of patients and dentists in our community.
Dr. Benedetto lives in the immediate suburbs with her husband Jon, a Glenview native, and children, Catherine and Joseph. Together they appreciate trying new restaurants, spending time working on their yard, and enjoying time with friends and family.

Amber began her career with our office in 1997. Her unique position on our team allows her to work with patients clinically as well as take care of their needs at the front desk. She enjoys the variety it brings to each day, and being able to see patients through their visits from start to finish. Amber lives in Sauganash Park with her husband, three young children, dog, and guinea pig. She loves spending time outdoors with her kids, running, reading, and traveling.

Athena joined the team in 2019 as the Office Manager. She began her career as a dental office receptionist, working part-time while she earned her bachelor’s degree in Art & Design at DePaul University. She now has 20 years of experience behind the front desk. Her background in design lends to a special interest in marketing for the practice. She aims to provide a helpful and friendly experience for all of our patients. Athena lives in Albany Park with her husband and their dog, Pixel. She enjoys camping, festivals, traveling, board games, and all things creative.

Kelly was born and raised in Des Plaines. She earned her bachelor's degree in Family and Child Studies from NIU. After college, she decided to further her education and earned a degree in Mortuary Science from Worsham College to become a funeral director. While she enjoyed guiding and comforting families through difficult times for many years, she made the personal decision to switch careers and join the dental field. Kelly resides in Palatine with her husband, son, cat, and dog. They enjoy live music, hiking, and spending time with their family.

Julia was born in Chicago and grew up in Park Ridge. She worked as an orthodontic assistant while attending Oakton Community College, and her experience there fueled an interest in dental hygiene. After graduating from Kennedy King College/UIC in 2006, she began practicing as a Dental Hygienist here, and has been caring for our patients for over 15 years. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is getting to know different people while helping to keep them healthy. Julia resides in Ravenswood with her fiancé. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, jogging and traveling.

After 38 years of dedicated service to our community, Dr. Duda retired from practicing dentistry in March of 2019 when he handed the practice over to Dr. Benedetto.
